COLD-GO tablets contain an analgesic-antipyretic Paracetamol with decongestant Phenylephrine. Paracetamol is a para-aminophenol derivative, that produces antipyresis by acting on the hypothalamic heat-regulating centre and analgesia by elevating the pain threshold. Phenylephrine Hydrochloride is a selective α1-adrenergic receptor agonist used primarily as a decongestant. Cetirizine is a second-generation antihistamine used in the treatment of allergies, hay fever, angioedema, and urticaria. It is a major metabolite of hydroxyzine and a racemic selective H1 receptor inverse agonist.
