Iron(III)-hydroxide Polymaltose Complex (IPC) is an iron preparation with non-ionic Iron and Polymaltose in a stable complex. Conventional iron salts contain iron in ferrous form, Iron Polymaltose Complex contains Iron in ferric form, thus preventing the formation of free radicals. It has rapid absorption, a high rate of iron utilization, effective haemoglobin production and excellent gastrointestinal tolerance. Folic Acid is a form of water-soluble vitamin B9 and is a key factor in the synthesis of nucleic acid (DNA & RNA). It is vital for the production of healthy red blood cells.
